At Least Zooey's Dress will Protect her from the Sun!

I am going to preface this post by saying this absolutely pains me.  Anyone who knows me personally knows I LOVE LOVE LOVE Zooey Deschanel, but this dress was pretty darn tootin' bad.  (Yup, I said Tootin'-I blame 'New Girl')
At Fox's All Star party, she showed up in this Green/Brown Metallic flared dress with a bow belt and black pumps.  All together, its not the most flattering dress she has ever worn-maybe its better in person?  Reminds me of those car protectors people use, or used to use, that you put on your dash board during the day.  But instead of the silver foil sunshade color, its this.  See where I am going with this?  C'mon, you know you see the resemblance too!

Hmmm, how to save the outfit?

Well the bow is pretty bad, so I would remove that first.  And where are all the accessories?  Surely this dress is not fantastic enough to stand alone.  Try adding a piece to draw the eye away from the puke colored dress, like a bracelet or Tiara, because we all know she would rock one if given the chance.

All and all Zooey, I think this was just a bad decision.  Keep the shoes, basic black pumps (not shown in picture) can go with anything, but this dress does not.  So BURN this as soon as you can.

In regards to a response from Zooey, I'd like to quote her character on New Girl, Jess:

"I brake for birds. I rock a lot of polka dots... And I'm sorry I don't talk like

Heather Morris's Outfit did NOT bring GLEE

On May 1st, Heather Morris wore this to the TV Academy Screening of Glee.  Yes, you read correctly, May 1st not April 1st.  This is not a April Fools prank-just bad fashion.  This North Hollywood event is supposed to show off the best of Glee and instead, introduced us to the worst of Heather's closet.

Apparently no one taught her how to get a stylist either or how to match.  On Glee Brittany deadpans one liners with the best of them and has some of the best lines ever from the show. And is one of my personal favorites, but I won't lie...she loses a few points with this one.

As best I can tell its three outfits rolled into one, none of which styles  go together at all and I am flabbergasted how she actually thought this looked good. (Yes I said flabbergasted) Perhaps a designer friend wanted her to wear this to get a little street cred?  Good luck with that one.

Hmmm, how to save the outfit?

Really?  I am trying to figure out which part would make a cute outfit.  But its just ALL so bad.  I would first take the socks off with the shoes.  Cut the train off the skirt and throw on a lavender solid tank.  And then maybe a fun pair of high heels and chunky jewelry to match the skirt style.  Remove the black lace lingerie top completely, it just doesn't go. Worst case, I know nothing can be worse than this, but throw on a pair of jeans at least with the top and a bright pair of high heeled sandals!!!

Heather, perhaps this is what happens when you spend almost half your time in a Cheerleader outfit on a Fox Television Show.  But this outfit is not good....awful even.  I would BURN all of it, immediately.  The red carpet wrapped around you would be better than this...

Bad J Lo in this Idol Outfit

Now its been several years since I watched Fox's 'American Idol.'  Not since Kelly Clarkson won have I really turned it on and cared about the outcome. It isn't that I don't like Kelly, she was the only winner I did like, but I wasn't so much a fan of future contestants.  But I am still reminded about it on a regular basis, by commercials, people I know commenting on it and of course pictures. And last time I checked, AI was a family show?  Correct me if I am wrong...but would you wear J Lo's dress around your little kids?

We get it your thin Jennifer Lopez.  Your dating a 24-year-old.  Congrats...and you are possibly more popular than ever.  But is this really the best place to wear this Max Azria dress?  I will set aside the fine style she is accompanied with on stage, Steven Tyler gets a pass. (He has had a rough past and I LOVE Aerosmith.) And Randy, lets not roll up your tapered black jeans again, you yourself are not 24!  You look like you are wearing jeggings. 

Hmmm, how to save the outfit? 

If she wants to wear a tight form fitting dress, it shouldn't have slits in it-especially in the chest area-especially on national televisions 8pm time schedule.  I keep waiting for unmentionables to pop out...and you know which ones!  And even if you had the right place for this dress, I am not a big fan of the short sleeves.  And maybe its just this picture, but she looks a little stiff and not super comfortable.  But I guess I wouldn't either in this suit of armor.

What can I say, I picked on 'The Voice' and now its Idol's turn, I didn't think it was fair to single only one show out.  And since the Voice's judges outfits have been getting bit better (You heard me Cee Lo), figured I would offer some help to American Idol.  Jennifer, this is your 2nd strike.  One more...and.. I am not sure what happens, haven't had it happen yet.  I wouldn't BURN the dress, but the stylists or wardrobe department need to be put on notice.  You have one strike, two more and there will be no choice but to FIRE.  Although, I am guessing J LO had a hand in this...can you FIRE yourself?
